You are sweet

If you are looking for my baby layout for the SBC team, please click here

Hi, it's me again with my second post of the day. I am playing for the SOTM challenge for From The Heart Stamps. They have this cute kitty as a freebie and today, is the last day to enter for this challenge.

The sketch has a circle for the main image but I went with a scallop rectangle instead. The scallops were done with my Cricut. I added some washi tape and colored the image with my prisma pencils. I also added some glossy accents to my red punched hearts (can't really see it here). The sentiment and the heart comes from an Avocado Arts set.

My sketch comes from I{Heart}Card Sketch

Baby layout

Hello and Happy Friday everyone. Finally the weekend is almost here and we are celebrating the lunar new year - the year of the horse today. Its my DT day at the Scrapbook blessings Club and today, I have a baby layout of my daughter when she was only a day old.

Please keep in mind that I have done this after 6 years, yes, that many. So I went with a simple layout and added some dimensional stickers from MME. Papers are from same company. I also added some handwritten journaling. The shapes were cut with my Cricut using the Elegant Edges cartridge.

So, what do you think? Please be honest.

Challenges:

Fairy Tale - More than 2 colors
Delicious Doodles - Die Cuts or Punches (Used my cricut)

Thanks and have a great day.

Thinking of You

Hi and welcome back to this week's challenge at Aud Sentiments. The theme is use a Valentine's sentiment of some type! . Easy Peasy right?

We got to play with some fabulous images from our fab sponsor, QKR Stampede, which by the way is offering 5 digis to the winner.

I colored Boy with balloons with my prisma pencils, fussy cut and added some glossy accents to the balloons. I mounted him on some die cuts from my Elegant Edge cricut cartridge - love that one! I also added a border with my Fiskars punch and glued some ribbon sequins on it.

The sentiment is from one of the Inkadinkado stamp set and I made that banner with scissors. I added some dimensional tape under the first black layer mat.

December 25...

Hello everyone and Happpppppy Monday!!! The snow and the windchill have made it impossible for me to stay outdoors...

This card is for the monthly Xmas challenge at DigiStamps4Joy. It's my first time playing over there and I was given this darling image to play with. Christmas is 11 months away but it's never too early to start right?

This card is fairly simple where I have cut the scallop edge with my Cricut and did the sentiment with the alphas stamps from the dollar bin from Michaels. Papers are from a Christmas Recollections paper pad.

Forever & Always Stuck on you

Happy Wednesday everyone and Brrr, is it a cold one here!!! It's -30 with the windchill and it will stay like this the whole week. Makes me want to stay indoors and not go out for anything...

Today, I played with one of Meljen's Designs digi, Doctor Bear, and since it will be valentine's day soon, I went with a love theme. Their challenge was to incorporate stickers and I used both epoxy and foam on my card.

Papers come from DCWV and the shape was cut from my Cricut using the Elegant Shapes cartridge. The bear was colored with my prisma pencils and I added the shadow with my memento marker.

My sketch comes from Tuesday morning sketches.

Hello and it's me again!!! How are you doing so far? The weather has suddenly become very cold and nasty. Snow fell again and I sure don't want to shovel anymore snow this year.

Welcome to this week's challenge from The HobbyCutz challenge where the theme is Lots of layers. Our sponsor this week is

Here's my creation

The image is Bubbly Sassy and she was colored with prismacolor pencils and memento markers. The mats were cut with my cricut each at 3 1/4" and 3 3/4" and some adhesived pearls were added. The papers are from Crate paper and the sentiment is a rub-on sticker. I had to add the "S" to complete the word since it got stuck on the non-adhesived paper.

Peace

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday!!! This week over at The Scrapbook Blessings Club, the DT was asked to make their own background paper. I was a bit scared since I usually do NOT resort to this since I hoard patterned papers...

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps

Since I had the image of a Rock Star, I knew that it had to have some pizzazz and this got me thinking on how to do I get this guy to shine?

An idea struck me when I found the Cupcake Party set. I chose the fireworks and stars, inked them with gold, brown and different shades of blues.

As you can see, I cut my background paper in 3 and mixed them to find a cohesive pattern.

Hope you have enjoyed this and should you need more inspiration, please visit us at The Scrapbook Blessings Club

Tis The Season

It is time for another challenge at AUD SENTIMENTS and this is my first DT post with them.

For this challenge we are so excited to have Inky Impressions as our sponsor. They are giving the winner  $10 Gift Certificate to Inky Impressions Rubber Stamps.  Thanks so much!

Here is a little bit about them...
We are a young Rubber Stamp Company that offers some of the cutest children & animal stamps on the market today! Each and every stamp made is “Extra Deep Etched” on Quality Red Rubber for a crisp impression everytime! All our stamps are made right here in the USA!
All Inky Impressions Rubber Stamps are sold with EZ Mount just waiting to get inked! The characters LiLi, Angelica, Nicholas & Christopher are cartoon versions of our children. LiLi is a nickname for our youngest daughter MarLeigha. We truly hope that you love our stamps just as much as we have loved designing them.
I am a stay at home mommy and wife to a very loving and supportive man. Without the support of my family and friends, my dream would not have been possible. This has been a long time coming and finally…I am ADRIFT on a DREAM!
I can’t even begin to express how excited I am to share my dream with you. We are devoted to you, our customers, so please feel free to share your artwork that is made with our stamps, or to just drop us a line to say hello!

So, now onto the challenge. We want to see you use any sentiment you would like!

OK, OK, I know Christmas was just last month but I SO need to start on them early.

The image has been colored with my prisma colored pencils and matted with a shape from my Cricut. Papers are from Studio Calico and the sentiment is from a stamp set that I don't have the name. The lace is from my stash.

Find more inspiration over at AudSentiments from my fellow team members and leave them some love.
